  • 1979 Standard Seat

I am in desperate need of a seat for my standard. As of now I have two seats for a later special, but none that fit the standard. I'm not sure why the PO bought special seats and sold the standard one, but now I'm stuck trying to find one. PM me if you have something.

    Thanks,

    Many dont realize

There is so much different in the seats as they start out with an xs...and you can jam all of them on somehow...so they probably bought what looked in good condition or has a stepped shape they wanted that std seat was lacking.

Wish i could help but im using mine.

That might be so, but the one I've got now doesn't really work as the seat hits the side covers.

leave covers off to get on the road

dont let the covers stop you from riding! leave them off till you get the right seat!

I might just have to do that, although it'll look weird but I'm ready to start riding it.
