Anybody have a decent place to buy a 79 special speedometer? The one i had was nice chrome no rust. Now its smushed.

I have one but have a lot of money in it. Its a 1979 160mph speedo and correct for the bike. I have another one due in that I bought as part of a gauge cluster and have much less in it but its not here yet. PM me if you are interested. Here is one from a 79 xs750 special, it will work and the 11 won't do more than 140 anyway. I've used them....and you get xtra parts too.

Agree on the 140MPH speedo if you don't care to have the "Original" one. I bought one for my SG and LOVE IT! Screw you 85MPH speedo
