K&N doesn't make one, found one on ebay, but $50. If that is what I will be spending, fine, but anyone know of a better source?

K&n does not make a filter for the XJ. Some have taken an old filter and then replaced the filter material with k&n filter material
Otherwise yeah, 35-50 is about the norm for filters.Nathan
