Need a decent Stator cover 79 1100

This one has heavy deep pitting which after 3 1/2 sheets of 400 grit looks no better. The bottom of the pits are black. Looking for one to polish so scratches and some oxidation ok but not heavy pitting, already have that one. (this actually looks a lot better in the picture than in person)

you could fill with epoxy and smooth then paint case except for face which looks OK and just polish that - I have seen many that way that look great.

I do keep looking at my 2 bikes and thinking one is going to be a black motor but I'll probably still want the covers polished up. It really looks much worse in person.
