    Hello all!

I'm in need of the front and rear set of turn signal stays.

This is the rectangular signal types and the front stays are different than the ones needed for the rear.

Anyone have a spare set willing to part with?

Good luck with those front mounting brackets! They are nearly impossible to find, and IF you do find them they are pretty expensive. I have bought several pairs and they all turn out to be broken.

The turn signals themselves you can still get new from parts n more.

Sounds like the mounting brakets are 'unobtainium' and someone needs to find a way to fabricate something that might work.
Any of you machinists out there want a project?
I'd offer up a pair, but I practicaly gave my old ones away about a year ago to someone here who need them. (seemed like the right thing to do)
I guess I'm stuck with the windjammer for a while now.

As Nate said, you can get reproduction turn signals from PartsNMore. They also offer the rear stems (stays); Yamaha still sells the rear rubber dampers and some of the hardware if yours are missing.

The fronts mounts will be the problem. Finding a decent set these days is tough, so many are rusty/bent/broke at this late date. It is possible to build a set, I built these 'similar' units for my FJ fork conversion....

Made out of stainless steel, machined/welded together then polished. If you have to pay somebody to build these, not a lo-buck solution... I've got about 12 hours in these...

if you use machinist rates, that's about a $1k for a set

            I'll check

Got a box of signal lite stuff on a shelf somewhere.
In that box are several standard front mount brackets
Don't think there's more than 1 pair. & 2 more , both left side. I believe these can be modified to work on either side. Never had to, so never did.
Anyway, Not sure how many light I have to go with the mounts. I'll check this week & see what can be put together.Pretty sure 1 pair fronts & who knows what after that.
My last standard left me last week to a nice local kid who was looking for a project & future ride. I believe he's lurking on here for info, as I suggested. Was able to give him a lot of standard parts with the bike which contributed to more room in my garage. I digress.
i'LL POST ABOUT THE LIGHTS BY NEXT sATURDAY.
