    Carb spacing rail

    not sure of the technical name, but i am in need of the rails for spacing the carburetors.

    you mean the little brackets that screw to the top of the carbs ???
    careful what you wish for.........you might get it

      I am guessing it is the 2 angle iron pieces. The later model carbs don't have those pieces on top you are talking about.

          Might look at a later set of carbs a bit closer..........top rear.........lower front.....

            Yes I know that the later carbs have 2 angle iron brackets that are on the sides (i have a set of '81 carbs). The early carbs have only 1 angle iron bracket and then the three little prices that connect the caps together.

            So what he needs in the end depend on the hole spacing on the new carbs that he buys. Or you could just buy a piece of angle iron and drill holes to suit your carbs.

                either of you have an extra set you wanna get rid of by chance. ebay seems to be an uphill bidding battle, and i haven't had any luck here. thanks in advance

                      bracket

                      I can send you the larger lower bracket from an older set. Then you should be able to set alignment to make the smaller upper bracket. Just let me know.
