not sure of the technical name, but i am in need of the rails for spacing the carburetors.

Yes I know that the later carbs have 2 angle iron brackets that are on the sides (i have a set of '81 carbs). The early carbs have only 1 angle iron bracket and then the three little prices that connect the caps together.
So what he needs in the end depend on the hole spacing on the new carbs that he buys. Or you could just buy a piece of angle iron and drill holes to suit your carbs.Nathan

I can send you the larger lower bracket from an older set. Then you should be able to set alignment to make the smaller upper bracket. Just let me know.Tom Clisham
