    78E carbs wanted

    ...I know its a bit of a spam, but still....

    i sold my 78E to a friend and he needs new carbs.

    The current ones have messed up bodies from the idle jet needles braking and getting them loose, along with much other stuff wrong with them.

    He bought repair kits, new diaphragms, new... you name it... but they still cannot be set right.

    So if anyone is willing to send a set of carbs (consumables are not important, he only needs bodies... and jets would be nice) to europe for a reasonable price, please let me know.... post here, send a PM....

    Strom, Just to make sure you are aware, any year XS carbs will let the bike run nicely. And the only differences between the 78s and the 79s are the jetting. So that could open up some possibilities for you.

      Yep... but still, other jets would be nice, but not required...

        got 79 standard sell them for $65 dollars. Not the best but they work

              No really... my friend needs a set of carbs, but they come up only so often on european ebay (decently priced... or they clean them a bit and put totally outrageus price)...
