hay guys engine on my bike is out of comission and looking for a good running engine for my 1979 xs 1100 special, any body help a guy out for a desent price?? thanks KEN

I have a '78 1100 that I know runs but I don't know anything else about it. If you've followed my story I bought the bike last year and the previous owner started taking it all apart to redo. I stripped it to the frame, repainted the frame and started putting it back together. I don't have a full carb set so I squirted gas in the cylinders, hit the switch and it fired right up for a brief moment. I didn't hear any mechanical noise but I can't guarantee there isn't some wear. All I know is it runs and didn't knock when it fired. If you're interested, I'm willing to sell the engine at a fair price and you can have the rest of the parts if the price is decent.
