  • My tragedy

I'm looking for the four rubber pads that fit on the horizontal slats of my luggage rack.

Here's what happened. I found a luggage rack on ebay that cost what I considered to be a lot of dough. But it fit my 80sg, so I bought it. It was solid, but rusty, so I brought it to a local chrome plater here in Newark, NJ who did a nice job on it, but he lost the four rubber covers that fit on the the horizontal slats that span from the front of the rack, just behind the seat and under the backrest, to the back of the rack. Of course, I paid the plater guy before I realized. He feels bad and will do whatever he can to make it right, but I'm not sure what he can do.

Does anyone have four of these little dohickeys?

Grainger industrial supply. You can use rubber motor isolators to replace them.

I have some 1/4" thick rubber sheeting you could cut and put in place. Send me your address and how much you need if you want some
