i am going to be looking to buy a running XJ1100 by the end of march. would prefer an 82 but doesnt need to be. does need to run move and stop. i can work on the rest if need be.

My guess is that the manufacture date was later in '81 and that is the year that it was registered as. You see it all the time with older vehicles.Nathan

I have this one http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30422 It has sat on the back burner since I bought it. I have had it running and it is all there and original. Quite a trip from North Dakota to here and not sure of what hassles you may have getting it registered there. Loads of guys ride to Sturgis from here so maybe not all that far. hey just tried to send you mail old skool. for some reason it got rejected. for one i would like to thank you for getting me hooked up with tom. he seems like a pretty good old feller. second the tank. i just got off the phone with my brother as i am splitting the bikes and parts with him. neither of us has any problem letting a tank go. there are more parts than either of us need.if it has screws in it i am gonna screw with it!

since i havent gotten any reply from you in any shape or form i am assuming that you either have lost interest or are having some issues of some kind. hoping that you are well and not having computer problems. my brother and i are preparing to make the trip to toms on the 13th. hoping to be there sometime the morning of the 14th. would like to know if you are either way if you want the standard tank or not. ? drop me a line.if it has screws in it i am gonna screw with it!
