  • NOS/Mint '78E Fuel Tank

Yeah, I'm probably dreaming, but you never know...

The tank needs to be like-new, with excellent OEM Macho Maroon paint. Some internal rust is ok, that can be cleaned. No dents, dings, scratches, fading; a few minor paint chips may be acceptable. I don't expect cheap, I'm willing to pay for what I want. I don't need a tank that needs any 'minor' fixes, I've already got those...

If you have one and are thinking of a repaint or a swap to a different tank, I've got several very nice tanks for trade...

I do check eBay religiously, so no need to send me there.

    Thanks!
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

You can still get them from Yamaha to the tune of about $800 LOL. Check the European sites also, their prices seem to be cheaper on some items for our bikes. Good luck

Just for kicks, I checked Speed & Sport, and NW Vintage Cycle Parts. No joy.

Who did you find that had one? This part number has been dead on the Yamaha site for years...
