Not sure, sorta slow so I'm setting up with Steve how to get ahold of his so we can test if it's the actual starter or something deeper (yikes) in the bike that isn't allowing it to crank over.1982 XJ1100Comment

you can always short out the 2 large lugs
on the starter solenoid while the ignition is on,
if it turns over then u know the starter is fine
and the problem is at the starter button, if it doesnt
turn over then more than likely its ur starter motor.
also make sure u have a good charge in the battery.
