there were stainless steel bolt kits available for the engine cases on my 79 xs1100f on ebay but i cannot find them now. anyone know who has these?

No current listing for the XS, but I'm sure he can fix you up. Nice guy to deal with, but the carb kit I got from him wasn't even close. He fixed the problem promptly as soon as I let him know, so check your kit contents as soon as you get it. Also be aware his 'polish' isn't all that shiny; I'd call it more of a 'smooth satin' finish. But you can't do any better price-wise by picking up individual pieces, so he's a decent deal and will save you time.Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

I'll confirm those are very good prices. You can pay double that price to get the carb bolts in SS from your local hardware store.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
