  • Vetter Floating Trunk

I am looking for the correct top cross members for the Vetter floating trunk for the XS1100. I finally have the correct side bag brackets and just need those last 2 pieces.

Or, if your bike has them and you don't want to part with them, I need measurements so I can fab my own.

I don't know if it will help, but here are the links to the instructions for the saddle bag and trunk mounts. There are some pictures that could be of help with fabricating some mounts.

Are you looking for the luggage rack and supports or the "H" shaped bracket that mounts the trunk to the luggage rack? I have the supports and luggage rack if you need it, but I already sold the trunk bracket. I made my own, since I already had a luggage rack and the hole pattern on the OEM bracket didn't work on my rack. Here is the design I created:

I used flat steel stock from home depot, and borrowed my neighbor's welder. I primed and painted it black, and it looks like it always belonged there.

Yes, it's the 2 front and rear "crossmember" pieces and the flat rack which mounts on top of those that I need or need to make. I have the adapter bracket for the trunk.
