I thought there was a member here that had a bad experience with that seller . He wasn't very helpful correcting the problem.

I located these dealers with ready made kits:
        Bremzen Performance Brakes
        HEL USA

You can order all the pieces to assemble them yourself, here:
        Z1 Enterprises

I have yet to take on this job, but it is due.

Hey James, that was me. I seem to be the minority on this issue though. So, the following is just my expereince dealing with Coastguard.

When I first got the kit, I was in the process of breaking down Banshee and cleaning the braking systems out. So I had the loose factory lines. I used them to compare to the lines from the kit and noticed the differences in lengths and end fitting angles and direction from factory lines. Granted, the kit says SG but there is absolutely no difference between the SG and SH braking systems.

So I emailed him on Ebay and advised I suspected it would be an issue, but it would be a month or so till I tried to install the lines as I had all the components off of Banshee as it went down to the frame and engine. And I preferred to wait till later in winter to tear Thunderstrucks brakes apart. He advised me he would correct them if wrong and just let him know when I tried to install. So, a month or so later, I found that the only way to get the banjo fitting onto the front MC was to remove it from the bike, mount the cable and then twist and tug the MC back onto the bars. Did it "fit" and "mount"....well...perhaps, but I do not trust that kind of torque on my brake lines..especially on a motorcycle! Same issue on the rear line. So I advised him they would not work, he asked me to send the problem lines back to him and he would send me what I needed. So I did. and I sent him a picture of his line and the stock line side by side. I included that picture in the box of the lines I returned and I wrote up the lengths and description of angles and directions for the ends of the lines I needed.

A couple three weeks later after ebay messages and email messages he ask me to look over the fittings pages for that manufacturer and pick the fittings I needed and the mounting orientations from their pages. So I did.

A few months go by of trying to contact him. He finally emails me back on ebay and tells me he switched ESP and lost his email and ask me to reselect again, also tells me he has sold alot of these line sets and no one else had problems. I again told him I would happily resend the picture of the two lines side by side for him to review. He advised it was not necessary and to make my selection. So I did. Never heard anything more from him despite many attempts to contact. So I got two SS lines for my money, and more headache than anything.

So while I seem to be in the minority, as I stated in another thread recently, you will sooner see me drinking beer and playing cards with Satan than doing business with him again. May be a nice guy, but not someone I want to do business with.

When I ordered from him I had to specify if it was for a special or a standard. He sent me an email asking before he shipped.

I have a complete set of brakes for a Standard with all stainless hoses(front and rear). I also rebuilt the front brakes in 2006. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Stainless lines are Goodridge, purchased from Dennis Kirk around 2005. Stock handlebars, so brake lines will fit the stock/factory Standard bikes.
