I bought new switch blocks from MikesXS. all I had to do was change the wireing loams over from my old blocks and put them on. A very simple cost effective way to fix slogged out switches and get the "new" look again.

Sent a message to MikesXS?? Not a good idea.. Never ask them about fitment to ANYTHING but an XS650. They don't like to offer assistance to any other kind of bike.

Is your switch missing, or just not working? They can be repaired if you open it up and take a look at the guts.
        1980 XS850SG - Sold

As Subike mentioned, it will fit, but you'll need to play with the wiring a bit. Nothing crazy though.
