I have a set, in black. They are mounted on a '79 Special.
The set is missing the bar that goes across under the licence plate, but otherwise all there.
I also have a set of Shoei bags, that came off an 80 Standard, but I am missing one lid!Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Just a quick note... the brackets for a standard and special aren't the same, so to use one on the other you do have to do some 'adapting'. The big difference is where the rear footpegs are; the special's mount higher and a bit forward compared to a standard, and this point is where the front lower mount picks up...

Here are a few pics from a while back. I will see if I can take some better ones tomorrow. Only odd thing about these is that they have only 1 bar going around the sides. My other set has a double bar.
This is a pic of my 80G showing the bar that is missing:

the bags are not locked, I will check and see if I have a key that fits them. I am pretty sure I do.
I think the PO removed one of the guard rails so that he could put the signal lights in the lower rail mounting spots. By the angle, it looks like he has the lower rail, in the front, going to the upper rail location at the back.
To set them up properly you need the signal light bar shown on my 80G. it attaches to the licence pate bracket and all the wiring is already in place for it.Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

depends what type of shape Freddys are in. I would still be interested in a good shape set as well. Crazcnuk, so you were never planning to sell yours or what's the deal with that?Saskatoon, Canada

It's not that I won't sell them, I just hadn't thought about it.
They are on one of my two parts bikes, that if they don't sell with the 78 I have for sale, I may try and make one that runs, down the road.
For this I would use the bags, if I decided to fix the 80G, or not use if I fix up the 79SF.
The 80G is cursed, so I doubt I would ever fix it again!
Your just close, and I know how fun it is trying to get stuff this large shipped. I picked up my other set from a guy in Winnepeg, and got it dropped off in Sask, where I drove to pick the set up.Nice day, if it doesn't rain...
