  • Spacers for 16" rim

OK I am finished moving and decided to give my 16" swap another try. so I got a 16" rim but I need the stuff thats not the same as a 17" set up. Spacer? rear brake bracket? or whatever. I dont know and there isnt an XS11 within 50 miles I am aware of to look at. Thanks.

    Hey Peru,

Here a few pics of the items in question.

First is the entire wheel assembled, been posted before I know. You see the wheel with a spacer/bearing cap or cover on the wheel, next to it is the rear brake caliper bracket, next in line is the alignment bracket for the rear brake caliper and lines, then finally you see part of the axle bolted up against the alignment bracket.

Here is the rear brake components from Thunderstruck, so you can see them loose and from other angles.

I would think you got the spacer / wheel bearing cover with the wheel you bought. So you should need the caliper bracket and the alignment bracket to complete the install.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

You need two parts besides the wheel; the correct wheel spacer (as shown in the first pic) and the steel caliper 'torque' bracket (shown in the second pic). The cast aluminum caliper bracket is the same part for both. If you have to, you could add .300" of spacer between your 17" wheel spacer and the caliper bracket; that's the only difference here, the spacer is just thicker. The steel bracket you have to have; while similar to the standard part, it's shaped quite a bit differently.
