  • Wanted XJ1100 Back Rest/ Sissy Bar

    I guys,
I am based in the UK and have just joined the forum.
I have had 6 XS's in the past, and after being without a bike for 3 years, I have bought an 82 XJ1100 Maxim.
They are pretty rare over this side of the water and parts can be hard to get.
I am looking for a backrest to replace the grab rail already fitted.
I would prefer the taller one with a pad, but would consider the shorter one.
I foster children and need one as extra security when they are on the back of the bike.
If anyone can help me out, I could send the money through PayPay and I am willing to pay the shipping costs.

    Hi Steve,

    Welcome to the site.

Have you looked on eBay for one, sometimes they show up on there. The other option is to make one. There's some info somewhere on here about how to do that, it's not too difficult.

IIRC there is a tech tip on a home made backrest.
            Ich habe dich nicht gefragt.
