Hard Bags for an XJ11

I want a set of hard bags for my 82 XJ1100--anybody got a set?

Hard bags that fit the XJ perfectly are a bit hard to come by. The good news is that the Vetter bags from an XS11 will fit with only minor changes. Basically, the rear set (rear foot peg) mounts on the XJ are farther forward then the XS. A short extension can be made up to span the difference. Top mounts are the same. The mounts are bike-specific, the bags are not.

Here is a shot of the short, about 2 inch, extension that I made up to put the Vetter mounts on my XJ. Extension is behind (above in the photo) the rear foot peg.

So, if you can't fins XJ bags, look into a set off an XS. No that hard to adapt, and there are more available.
