    wanted cms unit

    I have an 82 XJ1100, I think my cms unit is bad anyone have one for sale or know where I can find one? thanks

      Notbeing an XJ owner, I got no clue what a CMS unit is. Are you referring to the electronic ignition module or CDI?

          I believe from what I have read in my manual its the micro computer behind the LCD.

                  The XJ has a "computerized monitor system", including seven LCDs which indicate a wide range of stuff during stert-up, etc.
