  • Exhaust Help PLS!

Guys I need some help...I am looking for a Kerker or Supertrapp 4 to 1...I know someone here has one hanging out in their garage collecting dust...I have a 4 to1 Jardine with the oval can...it just isnt cutting it...actually it drags on most right handers...plus the finish on it sucks...So if anyone has one of the above mentioned exhausts.Pls help a fellow XSive out. I will pay your asking price(within reason OFC)...Pls repond by PMs'...Thanks

I hate to tell you I told you so but I told you those things drag. Scared the crap out of me at about 65 on a tight right hander...

Well my biggest gripe is that it looks like it just doesnt fit the bike... its sits too far away from the frame and any bumps or even mildly agressive right handers and it will contact the road...So yeah you were right!
So if you know anyone who has s 4 to 1 they'd want to part with I could reallly use one....My only other alternative is to buy a new MAC and fit a Supertrapp can on it...that will run into a bunch of money...but it might be the only way to go...

BNE, I talked to a guy at a local exhaust shop and he told me he could cut it so it fit closer to the frame and reweld it. He said he could do it so it looked nice not just chopped and a big bead weld.
I didn't like the performance so I sold it rather than having it done. You might want to look into it...

I have plans to do that this spring (SOON!), if all else fails my dad has another header kickin around some where for his '78. I will have to dig it out, I just hope its not another Jardine 4-1.

                    WMarshy,
Man! Ole Cobia kinda squealed on your deal there, didn't he??

                    HeHe....

That sure looks like a Mac setup to me, too. Pretty nice, though... as long as the price doesn't go through the roof before the closing bell...

Its all good, I had a bid in at $130 (which I didnt think was going to win it anyways) but decided to rectract it. I really would like any 4-1 that doesnt scrape the ground but I figured if a kerker or supertrap came along I would be PO'd after buying that mac.
