    i am looking for a right hand sidecover for a 79 special. almost any condition is welcome...as i will prob paint it...

      I do but...

      i do not believe the 80 special side cover is interchangeble with the 79sf...I wish it was!

        I have one, I can post a photo if your interested. You just need the cover without the field coil, right?

          I think he is looking for the plastic side cover that goes over the fuse box, not the engine cover that goes over the alternator.
