  • Float & Float Bowl 81 XS

    While cleaning and rebuilding the carbs off the 81 XS1100 Rick has discovered we now need 1 Float Bowl and 1 Float.
    These are the late model carbs.

      Hi Rick,
      That damn CRS kicking in again Not only could I not remember how many bowls I forgot to get the O ring size from you too. I see from your other post we need unique bowls too For a bunch of bikes that look the same they sure are different in a short bus kind of way

        Did you not notice that you needed float bowls before you started the rebuild? I didn't realize they could wear out.

        80SG Vetter bagger 1196 Wiseco big bore kit, Mega Cycle Cams, slotted cam gears, ported and flowed head, bronze intake seats, Dyno Jet kit, Dyno coils and Mikes XS air pods, Venture cam chain adjuster,Geezer's regulator, Clutch mod, Mac 4 into 1 with custom built and tuned baffle, Oil cooler,MikesXS emulators mod.
        Dyno tuned to 98 hp at the rear wheel.

          Hi Timan,
          Not worn out just the wrong bowls were put on by some PO.
          They even look as though they should fit but they don't

            Still Looking

            Still looking for 2 floats (plastic), 2 fuel bowls (for carbs 3&4) and 1 needle seat plate (retainer) for an 81 XS1100H.(later model carbs) Thx Rick
