  • 80' XS11: Need headlight & frong turn signals

Inheritated my dads bike. I think I have a headlight that will work but can't figure out how to mount it. I also need front turn signals. If you can help call 913-433-8180 or e-mail me at benjamin.schaper@yahoo.com. Thanks.

First, you need to put your model number in your signature so people can tell what bike you are trying to fix. The headlights and signals are different between the Standards and Specials (standards are rectangular, Specials are round), but they both mount the same way. The turn signals screw through the holes in the ears on the top of the forks, and the the holes in the sides of the headlight bucket. A nut on the inside of the headlight bucket holds it all together. So, it goes from side to side: Turn signal stem, fork ear, headlight bucket, nut, space where headlight goes, nut, headlight bucket, fork ear, turn signal stem. HTH
