What year and model? The brakes have some variation between the years and models. Some of them will swap while others won't.

        XJ1100 parts

I have the parts you want. I have a parts bike with top end problems. I believe the transmission is in good shape, but I haven't broke it down yet. How much of the transmission do you want? Reply to let me know if you are interested. If you are I'll break it down.

        Thank You, Bob 916-224-1393

          Asking Price?

What would you want for it? Do you have the caliper too?

            ...

Sorry...I would like to get a price for the entire transmission assembly. I'm not sure what all needs to be done yet, but it can't hurt to have it all. Also would need to find out what you'd need for shipping the parts. I'm still tossing around doing it myself or having someone else do it.

I'd like to get $200.00 for the transmission and the rear brake caliper plus shipping costs. I believe the transmission is similar to the FJ1200 that I am used to rebuilding. If it is similar it will have the input and output shafts and have the shift fork assembly.

I won't know the shipping costs until I remove the transmission and weigh it. I will also need your shipping address.

If you'd like to email me please do so at robbijr@aol.com, or call me at 916-224-1393

              Thanks, Bob

Faithbiker - if you already have a transmission, and yours has just developed problems, you might look up the fabled "2nd gear fix" in the tech tips. The XJ tends to have problems with one or more of the gears after this many years of use, and the fix is relatively easy. Even though the fix is designed for 2nd gear, it can/should be done to all the gears at the same time. No need to purchase a whole transmission.
