  • Valve Cover Gasket xs1100

Im looking for 1100 Valve cover gasket does any one have a new one for sale or no of a place to get one?

  • #2
I just did a valve adjustment on my '79. DiverRay suggested I use a gasket material called "The Right Stuff", so I did.So far, I have no leaks, so it must be working

Edit: I didn't use a gasket, just "The Right Stuff" gasket stuff.

        Gaskets

Bike Bandit should have these. Also, I think I see a couple on ebay.

Don't RTV the 1/2 moons. I've heard they can pop out if you do. Check with your local Yamaha dealer, you'd be surprised how many parts are still available for these old scoots.

Right stuff is good stuff but it will be tough to remove that cover next time. Dealers still carry the gasket cause its the same part# right through the XJ models.
