    Hey guys, im looking for the hose things from the airbox to the carbs, im gonna be doing the "pod mod" thingy lol and i dont have any of the airbox parts to use
    or maybe like if i can buy some hose from like homedepot or lowes what could work?? not sure lol so any info on that would be nice too

    Here is a great example of when it would be very helpful for you to have a signature thet tells is what year and model bike you have.

    Assuming you have a 78 or 79, or at least the carbs form those years, then you seem to be talking about the vent tubes. They do not really see fuel, but I would use some home depot fuel line, just a nipple is all you need and put some cheap little fuel or air filters on them. This is just to let air out of the float bowl as fuel goes in, so the tubing and filters are just to keep critters out so they do not cause you issues later.

      I think he's talking about a set of velocity stacks - usually tossed away with the airbox when someone goes to indy air filters. Should be lots of these around.

        umm again not sure what they are called, and i THINK the carbs are from a 78-79, not sure tho (got at a boneyard) and i guess its more of the piping? rather then hoses. its whatever connects to the carbs from the air box.

        my bike is a 79 xs sf, and ill put htat in my sig right after i post this lol

          and on this post its what is cut up in the very first picture ... but lower, it says some parts from lowes, so if i buy those parts, do i not need the original piece?

            Yep Ken got it right, I needed to look at the "bigger" picture, so to speak. (or at least the bigger hose).
