I have a '82 XJ1100 with 40,000 miles. I have not open the motor yet but if your are interested I'll open it up and let you know the condition of the pistons & cylinder.

Hi Bob thanks for the reply but i have a 83 xj in the garage with a good motor with 30000 km on it but here is the problem the 82 up xj's have the YICS system on it and if i use it i have to weld up them dam ports so am kinda looking for a 81 or earlyer.

But thanks for the offer would you be interested in selling the head off it if so how much
