Desparately want Luggage Rack/Sissy Bar for XS1100 Special

Howdie folks

My name is Bob. I have been a lurker here for a while and I must say that this is a really great forum. The info in here has saved my butt more than once. One problem I have yet to solve though is that I have been searching for a sissy bar with a luggage rack for my bike for about a year now. Every time I see one on ebay, they never say if it is for my particular model or year. They just say xs1100. One of them that did say it was for an 81 special, I got outbid at the last second. Talk about frustrating. Does anyone know of anyone that just sells them or makes them? Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to have one purchased and on my bike by the time it starts getting warm enough to ride again.

Hi, I'm putting a genuine Yamaha rack/adjustable backrest that will fit the 80-81 XS1100 specials on ebay later today. I have three sets right now - one set that is functional but the chrome has lost it's shine, one used that is near mint and one set that is new old stock which hasn't come in yet. I start my auctions with a reasonable starting bid and no reserve so they will be sold to the highest bidder.

I have a new old stock genuine Yamaha rack that fits XS11E XS11F XS11SF, and XS11G. I will list it later this week or the beginning of next week.

I have a luggage rack/sissy bar and hard bags and full fairing off of a 1980 XS1100 special. Make me a decent offer and it's yours. 99% of it is boxed up and just needs a stamp and address on it. I have pictures of everything, it is not mint but is guaranteed fit. The bracket for the luggage rack does have a break in a weld, I have detailed pictures of this as well. i have a luggage rack that im looking to sell. i actually just bought this 79 xs11 but since im not planning on touring much its just too big to hang on to.

i can email photos if anyone is serious about this. i dont even know what its worth so any input is appreciated.

it comes with a lock and key and it bolts down behind the seat and above. im sure you all know what im talking about here. sorry im such a noob but im learning!

I have one, $50 plus shipping. I took it off my 80 Special. It's in good shape, was for a standard I think and was modified to fit a special, bolts right on. No backrest pad.
