Belt drive conversion? Oil pump

any help if there is the possibility of converting a xs1100 midnight to belt drive? i know it sounds sick but adaptability. and i am having problems using the links for a new oil pump...the bike is a semi case at the moment but last time it was run was 94? been sitting in florida since that...conned it off my dad for a project...am looking forward to it!!!
