    heel toe shifter

    looking for a heel toe shifter for me 79 f, if you have one drop me a line please

    I use one that came off a Honda Trail 90. Direct fit. I mounted the shifter 1 spline counter-clockwise from stock for a better feel. Heel part is a bit long; I should shorten it by about an inch but have been using it that way for 5 or 6 years, so it isn't a big issue. Boneyard price was $5.00 IIRC.

    Almost forgot...had to notch the bottom of the shifter slightly so it would clear the footpeg mounting bolt on my XJ. Ground a small relief at that point.
