yeap, mine is on i-77 somewhere in a thousand pieces. anyone have a good useable battery side cover for my 1978 standard?

I may be able to help you out. I have a side cover at home, and I believe it's the left side. It's the side with the locking tab. (Yes, I know I should automatically know which side has what, but I don't -oh well)
It's the original Macho Maroon too, I believe. HOWEVER, the tip of the locking tab has been broken off. If you're an enterprising individual, here's a thread where Ken Talbot posted pics with a ruler, and you may be able to make it whole again. Click here ---> Locking Tab dimensions Let me know.
