I am interested in replacing the exhaust for my '79 xs1100.
As an aside, are there any after-market systems that will fit the xs1100? Preferably 4-2

Looking for an XS
79 XS1100SF (RIP)
- stock standard headers(stupid PO), slip-on after-market mufflers.
- after-market rear shocks (PO installed)
- no airbox, POD filters

About the only new 4-2 pipes available are from Mac. They can be found on ebay for around $350. -

really? I was just quoted about $250 to when I asked for the Mac pipes from a cycle shop. (I forgot the exact price) Unfortunately they are back-ordered until mid january.
Currently I got a pair of universal mufflers, since the muffler on the left side was what is nearly torn off. I'm going to cut the muffler off my stock pipes and fit these on until I can get the new system from Mac.
Unless of course someone has something I could get before mid-January.Looking for an XS

I have complete 4 into 2 stock head pipes with jadine slip ons. of 79 f and look pretty good
. plus i live in chino let them go pretty cheap thanxs pete jPete JComment
