Vetter Tour pack and luggage frame for my 1978 XS1100E please.

Hello world. I have an ad running at the moment in the classifides section of this website but I thought I'd take a second bite at the cherry.

I'm in the process of turning my 1978 XS1100E into probably the only year correct full dresser in Australia.

I have a Windjammer II installed complete with a Cyclesound stereo unit, I have an almost pristine tour pack and set of saddlebags but I can't mount them without the frame.

Carol Vetter told me (name dropping) that only the frame set up for the '78 will work properly and since she's not going top make a penny out of her advice, I tend to believe her.

    Please help.

    Dan. (Stralya)

I have one very similar to that, Stralya, on a '78 parts bike I just picked up. But shipping might be an issue from Minnesota.
I'll get you some pictures this weekend, if you are interested.

That would be great. I'm a slave to postage costs so I'm prepared for the worse.
      Thanks for replying.

Here you go, Stralya. This is what I've got. Compared to the pic you posted, looks like I may be missing a piece, but this bike had a rear rack/sissybar/backrest on it, which may explain it...

          Looks pretty good mate.

One of the rack supports is missing but you can easily see where it goes and I can make one up and I have a rack here that I can butcher to fit.

How much do you want for it?

          PM me if you like.

          Thanks large.
