  • brake master cylinders

    Hi every1,
Well got My 1st test ride yesterday. These scooters, are

awesome, lol. Runs like a banshee. Cranked through the

gears, & all r great, clutch, also.

Only trouble was, front master was off, as it was dry fer

71/2 years, & when I took it apart, was like brown crystal

all over the place. Got it down to the rebuild kit area, (was a

bitch), hmm, ya know, had all kinds of snapring pliers around,

but, non of em long enough. friend had a long snap-on tool

that worked. But, took a look in da bore, & was pitted, so,

dont wanna kiss a cop car in da ass, LOL

    Back the same.....................

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, any1 got a set fer My

    78 xse ?????????????????

Or, should I get em New, if that is possible.

& if possible, any1 know where I can p/u the front, & rear at

    decent price??????????????????

The weather is killin Me here in clev, ohio. Really gr8, & Iam cage bound, HELP !!!!!!!!

Appreciate any thought on this delema, & thanks in advance, Ltr, Andy B.

The partsnmore front master cylinder works well - I've had mine for about a year or two now. Andreas probably has a good yamaha unit or two... I got my rear from him.

I've also heard of members using R1 front master cylinders - I believe mainlylinux has done this.
