My 14 y.o. is disassembling my 82 XV750 to sell the parts. The bike was involved in a light front end collision in a parking lot (the prospective buyer dumped the clutch and freaked out...hit a parked car).
The fork tubes are both bent (not destroyed, chrome coat is still intact). The headlight and gauge cluster are shot. The gas tank is dented, but salvageable. I'm keeping the right turn signal light for my XJ.
Good parts:
Front Wheel (82 swirl...not straight spokes)
Front Brake Disc (still on wheel)
Front Caliper and Master Cylinder with Lever
Entire Engine/Tranny Assembly (17K miles). Ran when I parked it.
Rear Wheel (82 swirl...not straight spokes)
Rear Brake
Rear Gear Drive
Rear MonoShock
Rear Swing-Arm
Frame Assembly
Other small parts...ask.

I am not a dealer or parts store. However, these parts will go to the scrapper for scrap value on 8 April 2011.
