    Heater

    Used to be they were common place. But after a couple died during the Quebec ice storm / power outage, they are not readily available.
    Sharp used to make a nice unit .
    I have one as back up. Maybe have a look at the Trekker diesel heater made by Pioneer I think. A search using trekker should find it. I am considering a Trekker.

      No kerosene but Harbor Freight has a nice propane heater on sale for $170. and it can be used in a closed space.

      I have a similar unit from MR Heater and it's never tripped my CO meter. I'm thinking hard about one of these from HF because it puts out half again as much heat as the one I'm using now...

        Home depot, menards, and most hardware stores have them. Ebay has them too. I have one and love it! Before I move to a insulated garage I could keep my uninsulated 2 car garage around 50ish down to 0 degrees in the Minnesota winter last year.
