    I'll offer it here first, before I put it up on XJbikes.com.

    If anyone needs something off of this bike, let me know. I'd love to hook up an XSive with a Yammi addiction.

    What carbs are on this bike ?

    Hitachi ? Mikuni ?

            If I had to guess, I'd say you have a Maxim. Mine's the 5G2- VIN. Here's the pic I copied off of Craigslist when I picked it up. Tail section is different, and my tank didn't drop down at the seat as much as yours. Mine has the YICS engine/system too, so they may be interchangeable. I don't know for sure.

              The paper work I have just said,"XJ750". Then it entered my head that I owned a "82" seca.

              I have almost got this bike ready to auction off on ebay.

              I don't know what to do about the fairing. It is a factory piece and they are hard to deal with.

                The XJbikes forum is a good resource. You can chase down your VIN in there to be sure of what you have.
