"What they do have is an implacable, unrelenting presence and movement that bespeaks massive power lurking behind paint and chrome. They don't wail like a screeching ninja, the don't rumble like a harley. They just growl like a spactic, stressed out badger waiting to rip your face off and eat your soul." Trainzz~RIP~
I hate it when people sell stuff without knowing what they're selling... It would take less than an hour worth of googling to figure out that there is no such thing as a "Universal" mounting bracket for a fairing, and that they are NOT fiberglass.

The fairing itself it worth the $40. However, then you will need to find the correct mounting bracket. They are available if you search in the right places for long enough. You can also make one yourself if you have the skills/materials. It's just a bit tricky to get the right angle if you don't have something to pattern it against.

Sorry, but there is something called a universal bracket. I have owned one before. Now Im not saying that this bracket will fit but they did make a universal bracket. The one I had came with several bracket pieces that made up the bracket. Each piece had slotted holes to attach. That being said, the correct bracket for your bike is what you need. The universal ones were not near as strong.
If you had something like that, it was not made by Vetter. It must have been an aftermarket thing. Vetter states specifically what the process was for making those brakets on his website. Only the most common ones were labeled at all, and only with a number. Each model of bike is different, and there is no real way to make a reliable universal bracket for those things...

Never said it was made by vetter. But universal ones were available. I have had lots of windjammer fairings and put them on all kinds of bikes over the years. Having the correct bracket is crucial to fitting the fairing correct.
