I recently bought an 83 Yamaha YTM 225 three wheeler. The engine was locked up. I found that the head of the exhaust valve broke off, putting a hole in the piston, and chewing up the inside of the combustion chamber. I got a new piston, rings, gaskets, and ex valve. But found that the valve seat is quite damaged. Anyone know where I can find a head for this thing? I would rather put in a 650 Yammie engine,(which I already have), but this thing is a shaftie. So, not much choice but to repair the original engine. So, I need a head.
