  • 1973 Suzuki GT-750

I have a nearly complete GT-750, 2 stroke, 3 cylinder, watercooled, 'Waterbuffalo' for sale.

It runs, but needs the seals in the bottom end replaced (common issue on these).

The bike is complete except for a couple cosmetic pieces. No dents in the tank, needs repaint. Still original, as far as I know.

Has sat, for the most part, for at least the last 5-10 years. I have had it out and started most summers for the last few years.

It will need points, tires, crank seals, chrome rad cover (right side) ignition key. Ignition was installed brand new, and has never been used, but a friend's kids lost the keys.

All the fluids were changed 4 years ago.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Me to, rode one of these briefly, had a buddy who had one, his wife also had one, rode the darn things all over the place. Would like to get one, trouble is that it would cost me big bucks to get to Canada....just to far away.

I used to have 3 of them. I loved these bikes in spite of the crankshaft design problems. These days I'm not willing to work with a bike with these kind of problems...

That's sort of been my problem as well, although it's mostly as I have no shop to work in.

This doesn't explain how I have my xs all apart in my non-existant shop, though.....

I had it out on the highway last year, and I would likely ride it a bit, smoke notwithstanding, except that I haven't been able to register it.

Motor Vehicles can't find that it was ever registered in Canada, so I have to get an out-of-province inspection done, and the closest shop is 50 miles away, and has about a 3 month wait time.

If I understand the life of this bike correctly, it's never been registered, ever.
