REAR safety bars what will they fit??

HI ,I got a set of nos REAR crash bars ,i have put them on ebay

they say 123 5174 LEFT / RIGHT YAMAHA XS1100 1978

just wondering if any one knows years and models they will fit

save dissapointments for anyone,tried em on my special 79 no go!!

presumed they were for standard anyway ,but will they only fit 78 or all model years??

any info would be great .thanx .
