Off all of the benefits the XJ has over the XS I have discovered another. On the XS, in order to get access to the front of the speedo you have to cut the metal ring off. On the XJ it is as simple as removing a couple of screws. Now I just need to get the needle off the end of the shaft so I can remove the face. How is this done? Also does anyone have a spare 160mph speedometer face? I am tired of the 85mph limit. Also, does anyone know of a speedometer shop that will recalibrate my xj speedometer?
