who's responsible?

I'd like to find out who's responsible for the goofy,f'ed up way the slide needles are designed on the early model carbs...
It's not bad enough that you have to use modified hemostats to remove and replace the snap ring,but lining up that goofy plastic tower thing doesn't help....then having to hold it in the correct position while assembling is an exercise in frustration...If you know who designed it...send him to me ..I would be more than happy to slap him upside the head......
I'm all cried out now...lol
