    Just a heads up for those contemplating custom gauges....

    I see MikesXS has finally semi-admitted that their speedos don't have the right ratio for accuracy (although they still claim that 'Ratios are correct & match originals'). The 'correct' ratio units they had listed at one time are now no longer listed (out of stock or production?) and virtually every one they now list has the 'standard' Harley 2:1 ratio, not the 2.93:1 Yamaha ratio. These will hook up and read, but will show 46% fast.... so if you're going 50 mph, the gauge will read over 70. 70 will show over a 100!

    They do now offer a 'universal' electronic unit that can be calibrated and used on any bike though, so all is not lost....
