Vetter Windjammer Lowers - XJ

I want a set of lowers for my Vetter'ed XJ. I've learned from this forum and the Vetter site that lowers made for Windammers 2 through 4 will fit those fairings interchangeably. Problem is: Not all lowers fit all motorcycles.

• Which lowers actually fit my XJ?
  
• The Vetter page seems to indicate I should be looking for "type 2" lowers. Can anyone confirm?
  
• How to I spot a set of type 2's on ebay?
