Howdy all,
Someone was looking for the wiring colors going to the tail light assembly, and I can't find the post. So here is a general broadcast.
It was suggested that they consult Cataonic Bug's site and download the manual. It doesn't have much resolution on my computor, so here is what my Yamaha manual shows. (There is something to be said for solid media.)
The tail/brake lights (2ea 27/8 watts) are fed by a yellow and a blue/white wire.
The yellow is the brake, and the blu/W is the tail. They both feed from the brain box. The parking lights, (2ea 8watts) feed from the box with a solid blue wire.
The left turn feeds from the switch with a chocolate wire.
The right turn feeds with a dark green wire.
All bulbs ground through the socket to chassis ground.
There is a light green wire used, but it feeds the Reserve lighting pilot light, and would probably not be in the rear part of the loom, and therefor not be confused with a dark green wire.
