That claim to being DOT approved means that THEY state that they meet DOT requirements and regs. DOT does not do ANY testing, they only set the requirements and regs, other than that it's an entirely self regulated system other than states inspecting commercial vehicles.
I'll clarify, that doesn't mean they don't meet the standards, just that any testing done is done by the vendor, not DOT.

I don't want to mislead anyone. Their brake lines are DOT approved and their equipment--according to them meets all DOT standards. I do know they test the lines to 3000 psi.

If you are looking for some affordable stainless steel brake lines, make sure to call and ask any local hose/fitting supply places. I have found a place here in Roanoke, VA called Cardinal Rubber-they may have other locations. They made 2 sets of ss lines for me for $167.00 out the door. And they are DOT approved and inspected.Tags: None
