non-functioning lights w/fairing

Finally decided to start the old beast due to warm weather. After I got it going the dash lights,headlight,front turn marker lights were not working.bike has just been sitting in garage w/battery tender on it since nov. After checking all switches and fuses I started checking wiring and related conn. low and behold found bad conn at fairing main connector.sprayed some contact cleaner on it and plugged and unplugged conn now everything works as it should. just thought I would pass this on to those of us who have full fairings on our bikes.
